The June meeting of Sales and Marketing Professionals — Pine Belt (SMP) will feature Jan Farve, branch manager of Elwood Staffing. The meeting will be held at Hattiesburg’s Lake Terrace Convention Center on Tuesday, June 11. Networking and lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at noon.
In addition to being the branch manager for Elwood Staffing, Jan is actively involved in her community by serving as chapter board member for South MS SHRM, State Workforce Readiness Director for SHRM MS, teaching the HRCI SHRM HR curriculum in the Professional Development Department at USM, and services as an active Ambassador for the Area Development Partnership.
Added to those responsibilities, Jan actively volunteers for various community organizations. After 20+ years in Human Resource Management, Jan serves serves the staffing industry with an overall appreciation of the workforce needs in her area. Jan’s topic of discussion will be about Customer Service — Fact or Fiction?
